I'm planning a RTW and I was looking into buying a oneworld ticket that includes 4 flights in each contient, is this the best way to go?
I'm having problems organising the Asian leg. I originally planned to flight to Mumbai, travel north into Nepal, Tibet and Lasha, then jump
accross to Vietnam (Hanoi), travel south crossing into Laos before trying to tring to catch a boat trip up the Mekong from Phon Phnom to the
Angkor temples. As I say this was my original idea, but now I'm starting to realise that its not posible. The oneworld group don't have such
flights nor anything similar.

Has anyone done this trip, if so how did you travel?

Yeah, when I was exploring the RTW ticket options I found that the Asia part proved problematic. In the end, I just decided to abandon the ticket altogether and do it by individual fligths. So far, this has provde to be a great decision.

If you want to see each of those places you mentioned its going to be difficult if you are stuck for time and money....would you be prepared to pay for some extra flights outside of your RTW ticket?

That might work!)

Hi

Try http://ww.airisia.com - the prices for flights both domestic and within asia are brilliant. It might help save some time while saving a few pennies also
