Travel Forums Europe Road tripping to the alps......... help!

Myself and three mates have booked a ski trip to les arcs in france, and we'er hoping to drive down from london.

However, as we're all under 25 we can't get fully comp car insurance on our policy's, so we'd have to drive down on mere third party, not such a hot idea. We're guessing it's turned into a bit of a hopeless cause and guessing eurostar's lookin more and more likely all the time, unless........ any of you lot are absolute genius' and know a way around this???????

What's wrong with third party?

Just drive a cheap car, so if something does happen, it's not a disaster. If the car does break down, the saved petrol money should pay for most of you to get the train down to the alps.

As long as you drive slow and safe you should be fine.

Hello Twolegs

If u cant take the car, may flying would be better than Eurostar. It might even be cheaper.
