Hi there
i was looking into doing some touring of the Normandy area a little while back and i found a web site that i was going to use as a tour guide. Probably not what your looking for, but it does have a section on there about how to travel there and where the best place to stay would be. Thought it might give you some help and then you can look into train options from there.

Hello baby girl

I asked my boyfriend, your question, because he is interested in history.
He said the following

In total, those beaches span many many kilometers and are situated all along the Normandy coast - there is no way to visit them all in one day. It's probably best to visit just one or two. I'm sure there's plenty info out there saying which ones are most interesting. (Omaha beach? Utah beach?)

Hi Diana,

I went to visit the beaches last year for November 11th. I took the train from Paris to Caen, then a Bus Vert to Courselles-sur-Mer, where the Canadian Juno Beach Centre is. The bus ride was less than an hour, but the wait times between busses are astronomical. To do it again, I'd book a tour or rent a car. Travelling really ate into my time - although luckily I was there for 4 days,

If you have any questions, just let me know! It was a magnificent trip. Try to stay for more than a day, if you can. Caen is beautiful to visit as well, and you could see a few war cemeteries.

Well Im not sure if this will help or not, but Im mainly looking to go to Juno Beach. Because I really only have a day to see the beaches, and I would mostly like to see Juno beach.
Thanks tho for the help so far

Here's the directions page from the Juno Beach Centre. It tells you how to get there from Paris taking public transportation.

Be sure to plan that bus route well, though. Not all buses run the full route, so you have to study that schedule carefully, as well as the train schedule. Plus the Centre is closed every day from 1 to 2, if I remember right. If you plan it well, though, you can definitely do it all in a day. I met one guy from Toronto who'd come up from Paris for the day just to see the Rememberance Day ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful - although June 6th is the big celebration day.
