With the new release of the main internet browsers, I was wondering what people use, and what they prefer?

I played with the new IE7, but still found it a bit on the shabby side. There are a few comparisons been done.
I take firefox with me on a memory stick so i don't get tied to what pc has already installed (all my fav's are always there too).

Firefox at home and Safari at work.

IE (v6 I think) but that's only becaase most Operating Systems are Microsoft and I can't be bothered looking out other software.

What's the advantage to using Firefox?

I use Safari as my main browser. But, I do have to use FireFox to access my webmail. I honestly don't find one superior to the other but I also haven't upgraded either one recently. Safari's upgrade will be equivalvent to IE 7.0 in size - it's about 23MB.

I like the look of Safari better, but that's just a personal thing. Though I like the "pretty colors" of FireFox, it just doesn't have the same "quality" look to it. And, I'm used to Safari so I tend to choose to use it more often.

I originally liked Netscape over IE, until I needed to delete some cookies and Netscape's Mac version (at that time) had no way of doing that. It came down to reloading the program and starting over. I switched to IE and then Safari when I got the G4.

I do like using Entourage for my e-mail, even though it is a Microsoft product and the Mac versions of MS products usually suck. Again, it's probably just what I have gotten used to using...

Firefox by choice, Safari on my Mac, f*cking IE at w*rk (with a Netscape option for testing as well) and not by choice at all.

Haven't looked at any of the recent upgrades though

I use Firefox at home and for general browsing at work. But I have to use IE at work as well because some websites still don't cater to Firefox.

IE gave me a lot of popups and whatnot, it got very irritating. So I didn't bother to get the new IE 7.

MOZILLA BABY! ;)
but just so you know...I have no idea what Safari is? My son swears by Opera, and the general concenses in my world (friends and family) is that IE sucks.

A browser is a browser is a browser ain't it?

Like a car is a car or a house is a house, they do the same thing very different ways.
