jcampana has indicated that this thread is about Honduras

How do I make calls to the US internationally for low to no price? I have heard it is possible to make calls just as though you were making them in the US. let me know....

Hi!

Well mate it's quite easy! if go to a "cafe internet" you'll be able to call to the US for like USD 0.05/min but if want to do it from home you got to check the web for places like www.dialpad.com or www.pc2phone.com if you have a cellphone it will be USD 0.25/min and USD 0.06 de SMS

see ya!

Jaco

Telephone PC to PC on skype is free. If your family and friends have skype just go to any good cybercafe, if skype is not downloaded you can easily download.

Yep, would second that. Skype is your FRIEND! I can call Ireland from NZ for 0.017c a minute! Before I got set up on Skype I was forking out ridiculous amounts of money in callshops.

Its really easy to get set up. Its also worth investing in your own headset to carry with you as many internet cafes dont have them. :)

In Latin American countries, where only a small pecentage of people have home computers (You won't see folks walking around with 'blackberries' either, a few Ipods, a few areas set up for wireless reception in the cities)there are many 'cibercafes', find one that has good equipment and helpful staff, even if you require to pay a few cents an hour more, and now many PCs in L.A. already sport the Skype Logo on the escritorio, just click on and sign in. Most Cibercafes are in cities, large towns and tourist destinations, if you bring your memory or Laptop you can plug in to their ADSL high speed connection, even in small towns, but leave the black or 'crackberry' at home and enjoy your journey.
