I'm heading off to S America in February, planning to fly to Brazil (Manaus) then make my way out to Belem and on towards Rio for the first leg of my trip. So far the best flight I've been able to find is:
London Heathrow - Sao Paulo Guarulhos - Sao Paulo Congonhas - Manaus
Total Price GBP 494.70
Airline TAM - Linhas Aereas
How does this sound? Is it a good price or is there a chance I can get a better one?
Just to get this straight; you plan to fly to Sao Paulo, then to Manaus, only to end up in Sao Paulo (well, Rio) again?!
Unnecessary flying if you ask me; why not fly to Sao Paulo and do the rest overland? Would save some rainforest for the rest of us to visit
Yes good point! I had planned to travel clockwise down through Rio and carry on in the same direction but I guess I could adjust the plans to take me in an anti clockwise direction.......
