Last weekend was a weekend of celebrations for me. My favourite team Rosenborg BK have seized the power again and we're now 100% sure of a new domestic title, the 14th Norwegian crown in 15 years time (PS: I support Rosenborg since the early nineties, so from the point when it was very unlikely they'd grew really big in such a short time. What happened during the last decade surprised me really, but in a positive way of course!)

Celebrating the championship, and in the margins
- my nr 2 team Tromsø won and is very likely to avoid relegation
- our old rivals Molde are dropping to second division and were beaten 8-0 last weekend

Just out of curiosity: which clubs do the other members support?

I have been following KV Oostende in my native Belgium since 1993, later on that year I started following Rosenborg as my favourite team in Europe. Those are the two teams I really label myself a 'fan' of.

Teams I sympathise with (without calling myself a true fan) include Aston Villa, Tromsø IL, Inverness CT, Shelbourne FC, Venezia Calcio, SV Salzburg. I would have a preference in most countries' leagues, however apart from the Norwegian and Belgian leagues I don't check the results on weekly basis.

In terms of national teams, I support Norway. Have been a Norway fan since mid-nineties. I support Norway as it is the country of my dreams, where I hope to settle down eventually. Also I sympathise with Northern Ireland (obviously), Iceland, Greenland, Falkland Islands, Luxembourg, San Marino, Faroe Islands, Australia for all different reasons. I don't care about the Belgian team and to be honest always support the opposition, the Belgian team just gives me a serious deja-vu feeling and I lack emotional pride in Belgium to really be moved by a victory of the Belgian team.

I support the Irish, Italian and Dutch national teams in that order....

else where I support Lazio since 1999 and though they're doing terrible and some of their fans do stupid things well i'm a loyal person ..... and though i shouldn't admit i have a soft spot for Roma but don't tell anyone ;)

I also support Celtic

I've been told I support Feynoord who i do watch and check the scores etc but i'm not admitting to that, its fun to watch Arjan convince me that they will get better ;) well 2-1 at the weekend was a good start

and of course I support my home county Dublin !!!

What's wrong with Villa? Who was the longest unbeaten team in League football? Thanks to Martin O'Neill, Villa will be amongst the best teams in England again very soon, mark my words!

Portsmouth and Wales really properly, but also Kristianstad FF (where I am now based), Concordia Delft (where I first lived abroad, and long term connections to the town), Parma (former connections in the club from the late 80's when still an obscure side in Serie B) and, of course, whoever England are playing.

I'm lucky enough to travel allot and have lived in quote a few places, so get to go to lots of games in lots of countries, and thus have soft spots for a fair few teams around the place, but none really seriously.
