Quoting HonoluluJi

Whats up with all this love for Soi Khao San.....Neary a thia Darling waiting for you...NOne but a bunch of droppy breasted hippie chikc with braided arm pit hairs......

Shopping..Mo Chit Market but far more hot that in town is fun but unless you want to buy things you can take home or drink snake blood go to Mah Boom Krong (not as hot as Mo Chit)...right on the Sky Train and has everything you want and more....First floor has one thousand school girls in their lil unis waiting to practice their english lessons. Make sure you only talk with the one who have long hair more older girl skirts as they will be in collage and there fore over 18, hint hint!

I'm not actually planning on meeting any Thai schoolgirls on my trip but thanks for the advice

I would also agree regarding KhaoSan Rd, I much preferred Sukimvit, I found a gem of a shopping centre called the MBK off one of the sky train lines in around that area. It had absolutely everything & I mean everything.

Re the Khaosan road comments i only put info on as i thought Mel wanted to go there. I agree, it's not bangkok at all and when i went there last time it was very rowdy and i saw several fights...but at least the sex tourism there isn't as in your face as most other parts of the centre (the fat old farang guys and youngish thai girls.
As for Honolulu's quote....where the f**k are you getting off!
