Hi I am arriving at Milano and i need to go to Venice, Florence, Rome and finally Naples.

What is the better way to travel from one place to the other? I would prefer train or bus, what companies? any link ? Or i can go to the train/bus station in each city and buy point-to-point tickets?

Please i need help with this.

Thanks a lot.

Hello Tavvo

I think trains are a good way, to travel intercity, in Italy.
U can of course buy the tickets, at the train stations.
There is a web link, to buy tickets on line, but i an not sure if u can buy them, on line, if u live outside Europe.
But here is the link, and u can check that, for yourself.

Yep :) Trains are definitely the best way to travel around Italy. The services are reasonably good depending what you pay for, regular(ish) - prones to strikes - and it's a great way to see the countryside!

Check out the trenitalia website to see fares and timetables.

Best way is to get point to point tickets - trains are rarely full. An interrail ticket is great but obviously only if you are travelling to some other countries as well. :)

Hope that helps.
Good luck planning. :)
