So many of us want so many different things don't we? I've learned never to take anything or anyone for granted, never to have any expectations and to always be optimistic. We can't control our lives to too great an extent, we all have choices. No one knows how long we have on this planet - all we have to do is decide what we do with the time we are given! To some of us, travelling is the most important thing in our lives, and to others, staying put, making a home and having that sense of belonging and security is of equal importance. Who is to say which is the better lifestyle? We all have different priorities and at times it can be so very difficult to understand that. Being with a partner is not easy! It requires enormous amounts of patience, courage, understanding and common sense. Sometime tho' no matter how much we may love someone and visa versa, we just have to go with our hearts and instincts at that time because it's right for us, and it is so very painful for the person left behind. We don't hurt deliberately, but those of us with wanderlust inevitably end up doing this at some time. I have a restless heart and spirit (it's the gypsy in me) and maybe oneday those of us who are like this will settle down if that's what we feel to do. But to everyone out there all I can say is this; never let go of your dreams! Don't live to the age of 90 and find your self saying 'if only....'
