Best to get couple of fittings in, so say 4 days?

Sorry for the late reply
The suits I was measured for were brilliant. Iv had two made up recently and there perfect. When I was there they managed to cut a new suit in less than 48 hours as I was leaving to go to the north of Thailand and return to Bangkok and go home. They dropped the suits off to my hotel with and a couple of complimentary ties.
The suits are exellent quailty, all the pinstripes match and line up all over (unlike elsewhere).
Since, Iv had many compliments about my suits in London.
£100 is one hell of a good deal, considering Iv paid £450 for suits that are not as good!

If you wana suit, go to James Fashion, 439/1 Sukhothai Rd, Bangkok, Tel: 668 29935.
There suits are exellent and the store is lovley. Iv had many suits and shirts made by them, and order new ones from them from London.
You pay £100 each, which is a bargin!!

Highly recomended

Thanks seany & nicolson for your help in tailors! I'm looking forward to getting some nice suits made.

in vietnam id have to purchase the suit either in hanoi / saigon!

Thats a big shame because, as roni1 says, Hoi An is a mecca for tailors and clothes shopping. Very good quality, cheap (and hagglable), consistent, quick [you can get things made to measure more or less the same day, certainly no later than 24hrs] and used to dealing with foreigners. There's lots and lots of tailors (plus shoe shops etc).

I'm possibly the only person to ever visit who did get anything made, although i was with 3 girls at the time and they more than made up for it...
