I would like to visit Galapagos next year around April, I know there are many cruices which offers excursions and itinerary, who can let me know about the best options and the best itnerary in Galapagos.
I will be glad to receive any suugestions
Three recommendations for you:
1) if you can affort the time and money, an 8-day cruise is worth it. You just don't see enough in four, which really is about 2.5 if you consider a noon departure on the first day and a morning arrival on the last. See if you can find an 8-day cruise that DOESN'T pick up passengers in the middle, this means you will waste a lot of time returning to a populated island to pick them up, drop off others, etc.
2) I'd recommend staying away from the ship called "Gabi." It's a smelly craft (diesel odor everywhere), and while very, very cheap, you get what you pay for.
3) If I could do my trip again, I would have spent a few more days on one of the populated islands just hanging out. There are hostels and restaurants, and the island with the Darwin turtle facility (I don't recall the island's name) is a fun place to kick back for a few days.
I agree with the 8 day trip.
Take a good ship,it is an importend part at your trip.
Dont forgett tht you have to pay by arrivel in Baltra $ 100 in cash entrance fee to Galapagos.
I have contacted a travel agency called Zenith Travel, everyone have used their services, please I will be gald to reecive any suggestions
I had booked my Galapagos Tour via Zenith Travel Quito.
It worked perfekt, the Ship was the Galapogos Legend.
My Ticket from Guayaquil to Baltra was at the Check in Counter at Tame,so I was very happy with there service and would recommend them.
The Galapagos Legend is a very good ship, clean, excellent food and safe.the cabins are also very nice.
Every evening you will get a good briefing for the next day,the guides are friendly, very helpful and well educated.
If I would go to Galapagos again I would again do it on the Galapagos Legend.
OK Carlitab,go for it,it is worth the money,
how many are you ?
how long do you have ?
What is your budget ? Are you travelling "backpack style" or "porter style" ?
Giant Turtle can be seen in Santa Cruz in the Galapaguera and at the Charles Darwin Station. At the north of San Cristobal as well but a boat is needed.
I have only 5 days to visit the Galapagos Islands, and I am interested on a Tourist Yatch not too really expensive and on good condition, some tourist told me there are some yatch are dirty and some guides are no quite professional. Someone know something about it ?
Any answers will be welcome!
