Hey Andy,

I have no volunteering or teaching experience (and obviously no TEFL either), but I've an economics degree and have been working in the banking/finance/administration sector for the last 3 years.

I would really like to get involved with this in any way I can, the practical side of the project in particular...more than happy to get my hands dirty.

Anyway I think I will be in Cambodia towards the end of February 2007, possibly the beginning of March, and would be available to assist you for between 2 to 3 weeks.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Tom

Update for all Volunteers

I have now sent a news update to all volunteers to this point who have contacted me by 'pm' and then email. If you have volunteered your time and skills to this effort in Cambodia and have not heard back from me with the December newsletter then something has gone wrong - please 'pm' me.

Thanks to all who have offered their help from me, the SAGE team and the children of Preychrouk school.

Happy Christmas to all on TP.
Andy

Hey there

Myself and 2 others are heading that way after march this year and would like to know if we can help any any way while we are there!

We all have various degrees, but are more than capable or fulfilling grunt work also.

Would love to hear from you and see if we can help out!

Cheers

Hi Andy,
I am interested in your organization and helping perhaps when my school in Bangkok goes on semester break this March. I currently am teaching in Bangkok (economics and history) and am a fully qualified teacher (MS Secondary ED., BA History). I actually just visited Siam Riep and had some interest in returning to volunteer. When you have a moment send me an email outlining what you might see me doing for your organization and I'll email you back my contact information here in Bangkok. Look forward to hearing from you.

Greg

Hi!

I am currently a T.A at a special needs school, have done loads of voluntary work with children previous to this and am hoping to do camp america summer 2007. I also have a degree and work experience in various jobs (mostly catering). I am hoping to travel S.E Asia towards the end of this year and would love to include some voluntary work in one of the countries I am visiting, so any further info would be awesome!

Hi Andy!

I am definately interested in helping after reading Tasha's thread. I was in Cambodia last September and was touched by the people I met and their stories. I can spare a month from the end of February. I will try spread the word around when I hit Bangkok, the more the merrier!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sona

Hi Andy, can you give some info on living arrangements or accomodation available to volunteers, etc. Where is the school, what is the area like, what are the available facilities, such as medical clinic, travel, etc. Do you have a website? thanks

Andy

In general could all interested volunteers please include their email address with an initial 'pm' message to me. We have prepared a FAQ list and newsletter which will speed along the process of imparting information.
