Dear all,

Just a quick update with good news from Cambodia. We would love to hear from anyone who thinks they can help the children here.

Some things are looking much easier now for volunteers wanting to help on our schools'projects here.

1. The road out to the West of Siem Reap (to the schools) has been transformed into a modern highway. This brings down the travel time from Siem Reap to around 30mins. It is also a good bit more comfortable.

2. Accommodation should shortly be available at a Pagoda near the schools. This means that those wishing to enjoy the Cambodian rural scene to the full need not commute from Siem Reap.

3. I would like to introduce our new coordinator Chris Smith, a retired teacher from the UK, who is happy to answer any questions you have about volunteering here.

You can contact Chris through the website

Best to All

Hi everyone...!!

It seems that many has made enquiry about volunteering at IAM cambodia. I am keen in volunteering there too! However, there dun seem to have anyone posting their experiences. Is there anyone who has been there that can give some feedback about their stay there?

I have friends that run an NGO in Phnom Penh. I have photos of the Soldner Family in my blog, 'Sihanoukville Revisited'. They help orphans and poor familes in PP with basic care. No fees involved. Read my blog and if this sounds like something you may want to be involved with, send me a PM.
