I'm going to Sydney over New Year and want to book a bridge climb. I'm just wondering what time of day is the best time to do the climb, cause I see you can book dawn, day, twilight and night climbs. Any suggestions?

You can check out the times available and even book your climb on line HERE

Apparently the twilight climbs are supposed to be awesome. I booked one as a present on New Years Day for my other half late afternoon. At that time of year l think the general consensus is to book ahead!

Avoid mid day. It will be hot even with the breeze blowing across the top. Early morning will be nice before the sea breeze hits the harbour as the sky line will be reflected on the surface. That said, if it is a still morning with no breeze, it will be very hot. As a sailor on Sydney Harbour I would suggest late after noon/twilight. All of the yachts are out twilight racing (Mon, Wed or Fri) so there is lots of activity on the harbour and I think the Sydney skyline is best as the sun is going down. The sea breeze can pick up quite a bit late afteronoon and could be very windy on the top - it will keep it cool but if heights are an issue for you, bear this in mind.

Twilight is supposed to be the best time to do it. So i'm told. I did the Skywalk at centrepoint. Was good...

I did it at twilight and it was absolutely beautiful. It is expensive, but completely worth it (and I'm a Sydney local)! Have fun!
