I am with James.

I hate going to the office... ironically, I have to be in it 5 days a week... URRRGGGHHHHHHHHH.

My motivation... I get to pay for my vacations thrice a year!!! Muahahahhhhh.

I am ONLY 29 year old. And its still a lot to see.

I'm 23 years old...

Worst place I've visited... well I can't say I hated any place I've visited really! Only the good memories come through even from what seemed to be annoying at the time... like when we misread the map and took the wrong turn that led us away from our original destination which was 1 mile away... we were biking in Nantucket (Mass.) and we ended up taking an 11 mile strectch instead of the 1 mile one... and missed out ferry going back to Cape Cod... but I can only remember the crazy waves that were on the beach 11 miles away... despite my sarcastic tone, I really enjoyed the adventure and had a good laugh once I found out where we had gone wrong!

But seriously, I'm one of those people who come back from a vacation and sing the destinations praises. I fall in love with everywhere I go. That being said I did not enjoy living in Hull for 4 months... that's a city just outside of Ottawa (in Canada), and I really did not enjoy the lifestyle. But that doesn't mean I didn't like Ottawa!

And that's me!

Tam

P.S. Happy Birthday James!

Hello All

I just turned 28 in May, I don't have a worst place, but I did get stuck in LAX airport for 2 days on my way to Hawaii and made it a tough experince,

all travel is good to me, as long as I'm not home or work it's good:)

I'm just a tad over 38 and still ticking !!! I guess I have been kinda lucky with my travels, no big dramas and it's never about the place, just sometimes the people, but mostly mishaps that could have happened anywhere.

I am 19
Worst place on earth is the pan handle of Oklahoma. Nothing for miles flat and boring. I hate it everytime I drive through it; but my youth pastor (my father at the time) thought a camp trip out there would be fun, WRONG.

I don't look at is the worst places/experiences, but more so the most interesting stories I can tell.

But, I always have been an optimist ;)

Thanks for the birthday message SAM I AM.

For the record, I spent my birthday at work, but went home and had a very nice pizza and two beers for dinner. My wife gave birth to a baby boy 5 months ago, and that was the best present I have EVER recieved!

25 years young I'd say mentally though sometimes I can act about 40 othertimes 15 - rather erratic but there you go I posted a worst place question in this forum I said it was the Mallorca holiday I went on with an 18-30's - not my cup of tea atall Although Mallorca itself is a beautiful place with gorgeous beaches and plenty of nightlife - it was just the package type trip that put me off. Thinking about it there are lots of worse places such as accommodation I have stayed in but the country itself has been wonderful. Sometimes staying in the wrong accommodation overnight can make a dull holiday interesting:) Where do I start, well I went to the greek island of Kos and had the stray cats eaten my not too luscious breakfast of cheese on bread (which was the staple diet included every day) they gave the tea with goats milk and funny tasting water a miss though :) Also there failed to be any air conditioning there despite it being middle of July. The solution - either fry with the windows shut at night or leave them open and let the mosquitos (which there were plenty of) have a meal from your blood. I had to choose the second option so they got a good feed from me;) The odd thing was my friend that stayed with me didn't put insect repellent on and never got one bite. Whereas where I had missed with the insect repellent I got bitten (PS any useful tips for the future for keeping mosquitos from chomping on my blood I'd be extremely grateful for thanks) anyway the cold shower every morning and copious amounts of insect repellent kinda helped the situation. Also USA in Florida I shared a bed with my boyfriend at that time but a load of ants thought it would be fun to join us in bed too. Some kid from the previous time they had stayed in the room had left candy stuck on the floor and well ants in USA love sugar and can smell it for miles apparantly - it wasn't long before we were moved to a nicer room though so it was only one night. Oh and Cockroaches yep - they were my room mates in Tenerife too :) Only I spent a week with them as opposed to one night. They were also my friends by the pool and in the nightclub toilets. I've kinda got used to them now. I was also dodging a large alsation dog every day to get to my room and cleverly avoided it taking a chunk outta my leg so yep there has been some moments but I take them as part of my journey and smile about it
