hi i'm 20
worst place... hmm... school? ... naw... that was fun (waybackthen)
uhh... i like the idea of airports being a bad place to be at i got stuck in this huge atlanta airport when i first came to the US as an exchange student in 2000. everything worked fine until i wanted to re-checkin at delta-air and they told me that my fight was canceled and the next flight to houston was already booked and checked. so i ended up waiting there for 6 hrs. (still not as bad as 2 days ). at that point i had been awake for about 20hrs. my english was bad, and the food they gave us for our food coupon (from delta for waiting time) was the worst i ever got - actually i think i was sick the next day, but that might have also been the stress/jetlag or the cherios (i mean this really disgusting cerial stuff) i had the next morning
@starter of topic: btw. do you stilll read the replies?
James, HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!
Worst place...? Being stuck at work or in a meeting!
The worst place for me was school (which I finished two days ago with a very good exam of Geography ) Now I'm free to explore a lot of better places. (I'm going to Croatia for two weeks, than to Ecuador for about half a year before going to Canada an than... You never know! )
Just do what does make you feel happy!
I'm fifty-eight years old.
OK, you said we should tell the truth.
I'm really sixty.
Does age matter when you travel? Not really! But just for the record I'm 48. The worst place - has to be Entebbe Airport - just don't go there, ever. The best - a tiny village off the east African coast called Vipingo. It's in the middle of the jungle and you have to hack your way thru with machetes to get to it. But believe me, it was worth it. Stones throw from the most deserted beautiful beach you ever saw and never want to leave. Happy travels and be safe.
im 24 years old, but my mind says 21 and my body says 46.
as for worst place traveled, (and hopefully to bestow advice) Orlando Fl. unless you want to be a "TOURIST" stay away from Orlando!
I am 22, turning 23 in a few months, but I feel 45, but then if I really was 45 then I would either have my own restaurant or living in the country, doing something I love rather than being at work. I have skimmed over what other people said and have to agree with those people that said the worst place they have been is work. But in my case it's working in the office. Having to sit down for 8 hours per day 5 days a week. If I had a job where I can sit when I want or walk around when I want then that would be cool.
But then I would also say that being in a place where the most interesting thing is watching the grass grow or the flies buzzing around would be the worst place to be. Unless of course you have something to do there (which I doubt).
25 nearly 26. Feel 16 & act about 40. Worst place? I don't know There are places I didn't enjoy as much as others, but not a "worst place" as such. I had one bad night in Holland, where there wasn't enough room for my tent on the campsite & everyone basically was taking pegs out of everyone's tents so theirs would fit!! That wasn't much fun but I left the next day & all was well
Rach - I don't think I could ever cope on an 18-30's thing, it would not be my cup of tea either.
Happy (late) Birthday to James
ernie - I like Florida! There are places you can avoid the tourists & enjoy the country. I don't like it in August though cos then it's very touristy & too humid. You can be a big kid in Florida & get away with it!
I´m 19 and feel very 19...
This is an interesting thread to see...
i'm 24..........and the worst place is where i am now - work on a sunny day.damn office jobs.......
