Can someone tell me what the effects of a felony with a suspended imposition of sentence would have on my ability to enter the UK would be? After much surfing the web for answers, this is where I have ended up.
It was a class C, criminal mischief. (only a felony due to dollar amount of damage). It was committed in 2002, if that helps any.

Have you tried e-mailing the british embassy in your country?

Try 1st Contact - they offer impartial, free advice on anything related to moving to the UK to work/live/study especially good if you are Australasian or on a visa.

Not sure of their website but they are very well known in the UK - try google them maybe.
Hope that helps

I would be surprised if it would have any effect at all. If all you are after is a tourist visit to the UK, it's unlikely a record for minor offences would scupper your chances.

It's going to be more slightly long term. The situation is this:
My girlfriend whom I plan on marrying (and have been with for a year and a half) lives in the UK and goes to University there. I want to be able to go over there so her and I can be together, and will most likely be getting married there. After that, we are considering either staying there or moving to Oregon. (Today is our year and a half anniversary btw).
