marquismg has indicated that this thread is about Egypt

We are booked at hotel Longchamps in the district of Zamaleck, Cairo.
Would you kindly recommend eateries in this area?
How do I obtain small denominations of LEs?

Thanks

There are a lot of restaurants in this area, but especially the more exclusive and expensive once (Zamalek is the embassy area of Cairo). For cheaper options head to downtown. You easily get there by taxi for around LE 5 or less from Zamalek. You will get small denominations by buying a bottle of water or a can of soda in one of the dozens of supermarkets.

just go into a bank or an exchange and u can get lots of change. besides for eateries i woould say GAD is gud and so felfela i realy liked the felafel over there vand its very cheap. besides forget the taxi u can get into these areas thru a bus it wont cost u more than .75 LE or 1LE . also look if the metro goes there. the metro goes to mubarak station so u shud forget eatin from zemalek but anyways there are lots of eateries near the saudi supermarket. and besides shop for water and other things from saudi super market this is near the jordan embassy its very famous. i would ask u to go to tahrir square to the metro station i have told u mubarak and there u can get the hang of life . besides there is this place called after eight close to the airline offices on sharea tahrir thats what the name is as far as i recall
