Next year I'm going travelling with my girlfriend. We are heading to OZ and one thing I have always wanted to do is a cage dive with Great White Sharks. I know you can do this a lot off the coast of Cape Town SA, but does anyone know where you can do it in OZ?
I'm aware that they want to discourage it as much as possible so as to not attract too many Great Whites with meat and the image of a human for some tasty eating but I would love to do it to experience theses amazing animals close up...

Try Port Lincoln, South Australia
It's one of the biggest fishing ports in the southern hemsphiere and there's plenty of noahs (sharks) there espically during tuna harvest thats around june/july i think.
A couple of websites for you.
Anyway good luck hope you don't wind up some hungry noahs dinner.
I've actually been wanting to do this too for a very long time...here is a place I've found...
Thanks for that. Looks like Port Lincoln will be the best place to find something. All the prices online were way over my price limit but I shall travel to Port Lincoln anyway and see what I can find. I would of course like to pay extra to have a safe cage
Hey, just thought i'd tell you there's other companys operating out of Port Lincoln doing shark dives, with cages of course. there about $400 give or take don't no if this is in your price range. I don't think they advertise on the net. if you get there just ask around pretty much everyone knows whats going on besides the tourist information joint can help you out.
Happy travels mate
Thanks. That was the kind of information i was looking for. I will definately be making a stop in Port Lincoln.
