I admit the writing style isn't the best in da vinci but i loved the concept and story....

Yeah, I still wonder what-in-the-who the Da Vinci Code was, bacause I simply couldn't get through the book. But the story itself captivated me enough to maintain than spark of curiosity...

I think the movie will be miles better, since the characters will naturally come to life on the screen. That, together with the story, will make for one captivating watch. Hey! Now I'm glad I don't know the ending - won't spoil the surprise!

I recently finished The Wind-up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. It was extremely strange, but an excellent read.

Ive just finished reading a book about the 'KURSK', you rememeber that Russian sub that got blown up in the Barents Sea about 2/3 years ago. A very interesting read. I'd really love to go up to Murmansk to see the community/ culture those guys all left behind as their training mission went wrong. Anyone been up that way or even to Russia? Is it easy to go into Russia?

Whats the name of that book about the Kursk Smythy? I remember feeling so bad when i saw that on the news, it was given up as a lost cause even though many of them were still alive and were probably waiting for a rescue mission.

Then in the immediate aftermath, if you remember, there was a forum called where Putin made a speech about the event and the mother of one of the crew members was hysterical due to the unimaginable grief, she stood up and screamed at Putin...i couldnt believe what happened next, two men in plain clothes restrained the grieving mother while a female doctor stuck her with a syringe of some sort and she was removed, i felt horrified and sick at the whole episode.

Saw Alfie just last week. Jude Law is soooooo hot but I find that lately he's gotten much thinner (I'm talking in the last few years). It doesn't take away from his hotness though. The movie was true for some guys, but please, as if I felt sorry for the hot bachelor playboy with no love in his life! But all that aside, he was very charming and thus scary because anyone can fall for his act...

hey i would fall for his act any time. i would marry jude law. i especially like him in cold mountain.

Alfie is one of thoses guys who i would have fallen for but i'm not so naive now, but that was a good film.
