TWO questions here:
1 -
I have a WHM visa that i have worked for just under 9 months on - and am planning on goin back to the UK to use the rest of it next year. Thing is, it will expire in June - on the 17th, but i want to stay and travel in Europe till mid July.
If i am not in the UK when it expires, can i just go back into the UK on a tourist visa after that time!?

2 -
i filled out all my tax forms (i think it was a P85 or P81 or something) and got my tax refund for this year because i didnt plan on going back. plans have changed, and i will be working again in this financial year. does that mean that for the rest of this tax year, ill be on emergency tax (which will only be for a few weeks, coz i wont be getting there till mid-late march) and then in the new year, ill be on the rate i was before i left?

thanks alot

ok - so i rekn i have sorted out the tax problem - i just have to go on emergency tax for a few weeks before the new tax year, when i'll start afresh!
BUT - i still dunno about this visa thing

can i just re-enter the UK after only having gone to Europe when my visa expires!? I'll have proof of my flight back to Australia and everything - so that aint a prob!?

Do you think they will refuse my re-entry!? should i avoid heathrow!?

Check with the British embassy they oput to let you know how you stand. Remember if you blow it and overstay, you risk not being able to enter.
