Welcome to the site Vipi! You'll see how the members of this site share the common passion of travel! I personally would definitely like to make my way to East Africa, in particular Kenya (for a safari... like everyone else!) and Ethiopia (where my family is originally from). So what does jambo jambo mean exactly?

travelover asked what does Jambo mean?

According to my book on Tanzania, Jambo means "hello" in Swahili, though it tends to me used only by the traveling set (at least that's what it says in the book).

Thanks Greg! It's always good to know a few words in a different language. I find it always piques peoples' interest when you speak in their language, no matter how horrible your accent, or how minimal your knowledge is of it.
