Don't you just know I waitin' for the train that goes home sweet Mary
Hopin' that the train is on time

One toke over the line

Well it's the second time I caught you
talking to him
do I have to tell you one more time
I think it's a sin.

I'm going to let you down
and leave you flat.
Because I told you before,
oh, you can't do that.

Did the bus driver play Beatles songs again this morning, T?? (Or are you still working off of yesterday's ride to work?)

-----------------

Everybody's doin' a brand new dance now,
Come on baby, do the locomotion...
I know youll get to like it if you give it a chance now,
Come on baby, do the locomotion...

Do it nice and easy now dont loose control,
A little bit of rhythm and a lotta soul,
So come on, come on, do the locomotion with me...

The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
Ive seen that road before
It always leads me her
Lead me to you door

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way

Missed that bus on Thursday and then we slept over in Kingston for our Christmas Party (except for a few annoying coworkers who don't mix well with booze, it was actually a pretty great patry). I'm aiming for that bus driver all this week - it's my last one in this part of Montreal!!!

I now have this stuck in my head:

pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-PA!

Which is kinda the French can-can line-dancing song/kick that you do when you're celebrating.

Awesome song

So close no matter how far
Couldnt be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I dont just say
And nothing else matters

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters

Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know

So close no matter how far
Couldnt be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters

Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I dont just say
And nothing else matters

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters

Never cared for what they say
Never cared for games they play
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
And I know

So close no matter how far
Couldnt be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No nothing else matters

Heard this one over the weekend. It reminded me of an old friend who commited suicide 25 years ago because he didn't believe there was a light at the end of his tunnel. Now, I can't get it out of my head...

You say it was this morning when you last saw your good friend
Lyin' on the pavement with a misery on his brain
Stoned on some new potion he found upon the wall
Of some unholy bathroom in some ungodly hall
He only had a dollar to live on 'til next Monday
But he spent it on some comfort for his mind
Did you say you think he's blind?
Someone should call his parents, a sister or a brother
And they'll come to take him back home on a bus
But he'll always be a problem to his poor and puzzled mother
Yeah he'll always be another one of us
He said he wanted Heaven but prayin' was too slow
So he bought a one way ticket on an airline made of snow
Did you say you saw your good friend flyin' low?
Flyin' low
Dyin' slow

Here is one of my fav songs - got drunk and partied with these guys about 10 years ago too
The Screaming Jets - Helping Hands
Sometimes, things get a little hazy
Sometimes, I think I'm just a little crazy
I don't even know my own name
Soon all of me will go up in flames
Wearing scars, on my arms and in my eyes
Are you friends or enemies in disguise
So hard, when everything just runs against me
Jealous words, turn into a love/hate frenzy
Won't someone, lend me a helping hand
Time is up, to the time thats left undone
Time to grab my hat, grab my coat, I gotta load my gun
Silly things always always are the ones that turn out worst
And it seams
The ones that love you always hurt you the most
Won't someone, please understand
Won't someone, lend me a helping hand
Won't someone, please take the time to think
That your actions and words
They don't always say what they mean
Since I was a child, I used to dream of many things
Superstars, the bizzare, kings and their pretty queens
Now it seems, I need a shot, a drink to jog my thoughts
Why does this happen all the time
Is ti, is it just because
Because no-one will understand
Won't someone, lend me a helping hand
Won't someone, take the time to think
That your actions and words
They don't always say what they mean.
