That's a Corner-Gas-ism. Actually, I don't even think they end the show with that anymore, so B may well be behind the TV times... ;)

Really? I thought Brett Butt coined it for the end of the show. I don't even think he says it anymore, actually...

According to wikipedia, this Corner Gas program has existed since 2004. According to the same wikipedia, the first recorded use of the slang term interweb was in 1997.

I personally have been using it since 2000 or thereabouts, although I've mostly stuck to the intarrrweb version. ('course, nowadays it's the intertubes and other such combinations, thanks to Senator Ted Stevens and his 'brilliant' explanation of how the internet really doesn't work.) :)

Ohhh I like Intertubes!... I didn't realise the term was coined in 1997 that is older than I thought.
