Another day has just past, time to pack up and head home...
Just curious, what would you guys and gals been doing every time after a long day work?

Time past darn slow during works and will gone in a few sec if it happens during happy moment like traveling and all.
I'll normally go swimming and go for a drink with my fella buddy later in the late evening. Sometimes hookup in CyberCafe to play some Network games, like FIFA2003/04

But yet it seems so routine to me...sigh.
Can't it be something more different, ARGHHH

Really dunno how long I can stand here. Tired of IT jobs.
Anyone working frm home rather than base in the office?
I bet it'll be much better and relaxing to work frm home.

Looking forward to Friday,

I'm having the same feelings...every day is so dull when doing an IT job. I think working at home would be a bit better, but it's not easy to find a job like that! I was looking so much forward to go to chicago for a training for my work in August. But now I'm on a new project, and my boss is telling me that there will probably be no time to go :( That was just the thing that kept me motivated for this job!
Yesterday evening I went to an infosession of "Médecins sans frontières" (an organization sending people obroad to help other people after wars, disasters etc...). That's something I would really like to do, the only problem is that they don't need people with an IT background. And studying another 3 years to become a doctor seems so much ...
Aynwayn I'll send my CV, you never know they might need me :)

i think everybody have this kind of struggle about what we are doin', why we are working so hard? sometimes it goes deeper to what's the goal of our lives?...

well...I am here, living a not very happy life in Canada, my home is far away in Beijing, and i had a very privileged life there...but why did i leave?

Becuz i feel such a responsibility to my country, I am so eager to participate in the construction of this incredibely beautiful country...however, i am not well prepared......i came to Canada, learning their advanced knowledge, then i'll come back to Beijing, China, contributing the rest of my life for the development of this country.... China is a place all about miracle and hope, no one else could make such a historical leap from subsistence to modest prosperity in 50 years...I deeply believe in my homeland...

i think ppl need belief to support their life...hopefully u can find ur goal, your belief soon:)

orienteyec - you say you have a "responsibility to my country".

Don't take this the wrong way, but that's an old-fashioned way of thinking, in my mind anyway.

What about the responsibility to yourself?

don't you feel yourself is so not important compared to your country?

So it's almost the same, everywhere around this globe! Working everyday and things starts to get boring and we need something different...

I usually have other activity after work. I used to take foreign language lessons, join a martial art, go swimming, meet with friends, go to a concert, etc. My favorite is outdoor activities actually, like to enjoy the late afternoon air but not always have the chance. Sometimes I just like to pamper myself - I go to a spa

BUT lately I almost have NO other activity except working and then going home :( So boring...! Sometimes I also feel tired of my job. Actually I've been having interests in another thing but I must have a real study (at least a diploma) on that before I can really move to that kind of job. Another difficult thing is that my current job situation makes it possible for me to save money and travel. If I moved, I might not be so lucky...
