I have been on the Thai Consul website, but can't seem to find the answer to my question andI have e-mailed the Consul but they have not replied. So hopefully someone on TP can answer my question.
I am travelling through SE Asia next year, Will be travelling overland, through malaysia into Thailand, over to Laos, into Vietnam, to Cambodia back to Thailand then home to sunny Scotland.
I will be travelling through the border crossings overland at Malaysia/Thailand and Cambodia/Thailand. Will I be eligible for visa on arrival at both these border crossings ? I will not be staying over 30 days in Thailand each time I enter.
As long as you leave thailand before the 30 days is up you can go back in and they will stamp your pp allowing you up to another 30 days stay. You will have to pay for a visa into cambodia but this depends where/how you enter.
Hope this helps.
I'll recomfirm this.
You do NOT need a visa to get into Thailand.
You can enter by any border and you will not need one. They'll give you 30 days for free.
I'm told now that things are changing and you are only allowed to enter like 3 times within a certain amount of time or something, but this won't effect you if you are only entering twice.
Thanks for the answers.

I will be travelling into Cambodia from Vietnam. Probably by bus from Saigon to Phnom Penh, crossing the border at Moc Bai (Vietnam) to Bavet(Cambodia). Will I be able to get a visa on arrival in Cambodia at this border crossing ?

yes, you can take visa at the boder of Cambodia. Or you can go to Cambodia embassy in vietnam to make your visa, very fast in a day.
