I am planning a trip in central/eastern Europe in the first week of July. I am planning the trip for my wife and I for our honeymoon. I have some cities that I want to see. However, I want help in how many days in each city to see the sites, should we spend more or less in these cities. I am hoping of spending almost a month traveling around if I can plan it right and save enough money. We are looking into staying in hostels to save money. The cities and amount of time planning on staying in each city is as followed:
Berlin: 5 days
Krakow: 4 days
Prague: 4 days
Vienna/Bratislava: 4 days
Salzburg or Innsbruck: 1 or 2 days
Fussen: 1 day
Munich: 4 days

I am also looking at going to Wroclaw between Berlin and Krakow or between Prague and Krakow whichever way we plan on traveling. I have also looked into going to Budapest but it is kind of out of the way since I want to try and make a loop. If you have any suggestions as to how long, accomadations, and sites to see I am open to suggestions. I hope that people can help me plan a great memorable trip for my wife.

Dear Kleiny...what a nice loop! I think the days planned for each city are very well set!
i DON'T KNOW ABOUT kRAKOW... if 4 days would be too many... for sure i recommend 4 days in Vienna, 3 in Prague, 1 day Fussen ( fantastic castle!), and maybe one less in Munich, and 2 in Bozen/ Bolzano (italy), ( 1h 1/2 from Innsburck just to get some of Italy...);)
Very nice contemporary art museum in Innsbuck.. worth a visit! Have a cake & capuccino at the Saker hotel ( famous saker torte there...very nice atmosphere...)
Bolzano for the wine cellars is a fantastic place!! and very good dishes. Shops and galleries and fruit markets....

In prague... have a meal in this nice budget vegetarian restaurant and teahouse Clear Head in Praha 1; Borsov, 2; metro: Narodni trida; if the site does not work see the nice pictures in google just digit 'Clear Head restaurant Prague'
very nice is also the floating jazz boat...with restaurant and jazz sessions.. very romantinc for you!

for now this is all I have to offer.. talk to you soon!

[ Edit: Sorry, no promos please... ]

Hi there
here you go:

Berlin: 5 days - Perfect! 5 days is just enough- my fav city in Europe too!

Krakow: 4 days - yeah should be enough - plan a trip to Aushwitz - 4 days will be plenty then. Nathans Villa hostel is a good choice.

Salzburg or Innsbruck: 1 or 2 days
Innsbruck is a better choice I think. Both can be covered in one day. The twons around Innsbruck are lovly tho, you may want to spend 2-3 days in the Tyrol area.

"I am also looking at going to Wroclaw between Berlin and Krakow "

Id recommend instead a town called Torun. a beautiful old town not far from Berlin!

Budapest is not far from Vienna - its worth the trip but a bit out of ur way like you said. Why not go back some other time?
