Your itinerary is deinitely ambitious! Germany buff that I am, I must suggest that you find some time for Bavaria.

Some would say that Bavaria is not Germany -- well, beginning with the Bavarians, I suppose.

But still a good suggestion!

If your intention is not to leave the train, then your schedule is fine. I'd do half what you have on your list.

As for Germany, pfeiffer is correct about the Bavarians considering themselves unique from the rest of the country. Personality wise they are closer to the Austrians and northeastern Italians. But the Berliners also have a history as Prussians, no? Anyway, Munich is a great town with plenty to do for a week. If you're there around Oktoberfest (in September), you might not leave town.

Hi Chucho,

I have only been to 3 of the places on your list. I think that you have too little time for all the places you want to see! Maybe you need to do a little more research on each place and decide which ones you truly want to go to.

I could easily spend a week in London (don't think I'd get to see '+ around'). And then I still wouldn't have seen enough of London! I spent a week in Paris, but then I didn't rush around there, so it could be cut down to 5 days, if you want to see a decent amount. Interlaken needs 2 days, 1 day to see Lake Thun (you can go on a boat and get on and off at the little villages along the lake) and the other day to see Lake Brienz (do the same boat sightseeing thing). Already thats 14 days excl. travelling time.

In my opinion you need to cut down so that you can get as much out of seeing the town/city you want see. Thats how I look at things anyhow. If you are the type of person who is quite happy only being in the place for a day or two and only seeing a thing or two in that place then I suppose...good luck!

Hi,

How are you planning to get around, by train or by plane?
If you travel by train, I think you will be better off, you can stop more often in smaller places.
I'd add central the South of France and the Centre of Italy to your trip, and from the South of Italy you could take a ferry to Greece.

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to go to Vienna but I have no clue about the place. Someone can give me few information about the place? Seems like the place is kinda boring as what I've heared.

Yes, it's just another lil' part of Old Europe. Not for you.
