But you haven't lived till you've driven through a blizzard, before sunrise, with 80 kph winds howling 2 cm/hr snow around....then, when it's done snowing, scraping 12 cm of snow and ice off your car...all in -7C temps.

Now where did I leave that Necker Island brochure...

Honestly, its been double figures down here! Ok, its not warm enough, but its mild for nov/dec!

I normally walk everywhere, but I've been driving a lot this week, and and when I'm in the car I put the heater on full, so I suppose I haven't noticed it.

Come on Beerman! -7C... sheesh.. subtract 20 degrees from that and then it's starting to look bad. -7 is still T-Shirt weather!

Then you won't mind coming down and shoveling the drive in your t-shirt...
Oh wait - already done - by me!!! (Our friends who were going to plow us out couldn't get the truck to stay running. Guess it didn't like the snow either.)

By the way, B - we're still expecting you to come down and build that fireplace so we can warm up with buttered rum or hot chocolate after you're done shoveling. We'll watch you from the window and keep the fire burning until you're finished.

Necker Island!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to see B in his polar bear suit shovelling our drive!!!

Yes, -7C is relatively mild....by Arctic standards. I have withstood -36C...that was chilly. I would still rather be on a tropical +25C beach, singing John Lennons' "Christmas is Here (War is Over).....

By the way, I AM in a t-shirt......

Wow... METRIC!!!

Minus Twenty five??? Heavens above. Humans aren't supposed to live in those temperatures. If we were we'd be covered in fur.

Wimp!
