I have decided to fly to Beijing at the end of March, then to travel by land to singapore, and then to Oz to work for a year. Then from there I am not sure yet.
I was just wondering would it be best to buy flights before I go or to take it as it comes and buy my flights as I travel as this would give me total flexibility.
Also would this work out cheaper? or around the same price?
Any advise and tips would be great.
I don't think there's many secrets here. Of course if you buy 'round trip tickets from one airline, or even several different flights at once, you will pay a little less for your flights due to the gauranteed buisness you're giving the carrier.
However, I don't think many travellers here would enjoy locking in any kind of schedule after choosing the date to leave. Personally, I would book the first flight and see where my travels went from there. Who knows what's waiting for you in Beijing?
Think I will do that then as I am always changing my mind about what I want to see and do I think it would be a bit silly to plan to far ahead.
Just come across the thread. Thank you for your post,I am just thinking about this question... But I think if you book the flight before months , you can get discount that will help you a lot for the budget when travelling~~~ But time is really also a barrier , cos we don't know when will finish our plan on that place...
Woo....thing is just so complicate....
Can any one give a better suggestion?...?
I think if thing like ,I book a ticket and I can change into another flight with the same price when I meet some change in the schedule. That would be cool~~~~~so cool~~~~~
