Hey, Pfeiffer!

For what it's worth, I thought that was an excellent suggestion and an excellent post.

I, myself, have a microfiber towel that despite many washings, still generally just moves the water around my body with the absorbancy of...plastic wrap. But perhaps I just have a particularly crappy towel...

They are kind of useful, but on my last trip I took to using the sarong more as a towel (depends on the fabric of the sarong).

Then on my next trip this summer, I took the worn-out threadbare normal old towel (its at least 25 years old)and I was v happy with it. I would still take the microfibre towel as well, even if it is a bit unpleasant.

The hardest bit is when you are in a damp environment- like the monsoon, when its really humid, and you can get nothing dry!
