I don't know about that, but this is more of an extension of your question Tuch: What benefots do air courier's have? And do travellers leaving from Canada have that option? I've heard about it but the details are really sketchy.

Cheers,
Katie ;)

Check out

http://www.aircourier.org/

You should find the answers to some of your questions there.
It depends on what type of package you are couriering if you can have a baggage check allowance. Some flights allow it, some don't. Check before you sign up for the flight.
I haven't taken a courier flight myself so can't offer any advice from experience.
Best of luck

Hey micheal,
i did a little research on this, but i never actually went through with it. but i will be glad to share with you what i know. First of all it is completely legit. All packages that you will be escorting will not contain any contraband or anything like that. second, it is likely that you will never even see that package, which usually contains time sensitive documnets .third, the airlines need you, this is because the documents are time sensitive and can't be held in customs for days, thus you claim it as par t of your luggage. with that said, you loose either a portion or all of your luggage allowance, but are still allowed carry ons. Also, this works best if u travel alone, because ailines rarely need more then one carreir per flight. One more thing, you would be flying on an actual passenger airline, not a cargo plane. the last one might be obvious but i wasnt sure unitl i researched it.

safe travels,
brian
