Hi,

I am spending christmas this year in Thailand. I want to have a great one where there will be lots of people and a bit of a party? I was thinking one of the islands on the east coast?

Would really appreciate any suggestions.

Charlie,
If you do not want to go all the way down to Samui & Phangan, Pattaya is always a party town. There will be plenty of folks from your country to celebrate with, along with thousands more from every country you can name. Only a couple of hours from BKK and a great place to be for New Year's Eve as well.

Hello Charlie

I have only been to 2 islands.
But, I would recommend Ko Pha Ngan. There should be plenty of people there, for u to share Christmas with, because it is now the high season.

Pattaya is you want to party and be near bangkok, the islands down the east coast like Samet or koh Chang won't be that lively.
