Do u travel with your kids?

Which countries did u travel to, with your kids?

Were you accompanied, by another adult?

Were the countries child friendly? If so please describe.

Did this for the first time in May, but that was just a quick trip to Holland and back. Then the end of August again (baby was 5 months) we flew to Australia via LA and the Cook Islands. Accompanied by the mom, of course

So far it's been pretty easy going actually, especially the flights with Air New Zealand. We flew to Sydney and down from Brisbane a few weeks ago and Qantas were definitely WAAAAYYYY behind in terms of understanding and customer service. But I've had that experience with them even without travelling with kids

Oh, and someone stole our stroller here in Melbourne, but that could probably have happened anywhere....

ps. were you asking this for a reason? I got the following email today which makes me ask:

I've received an email from Zoe a writer for Practical Parenting Magazine who is looking for a UK parent that has been travelling with a baby or young child, but to somewhere a little extreme. Such as six months in Thailand with a baby, or backpacking with a toddler.

Can anyone help her urgently?

If anyone can help her, PM me and I'll put you through to the writer. I don't think Margit and me qualify

Hello Sam I am

I was asking, because i am looking for more destinations, to travel to with my 5 year old daughter. Especially, child friendly destinations. We have just been in Thailand, together, for a month. We will go to Ireland, this week, for a few days together. I also took her to Cuba, with me and my boyfriend, when she was 10 months old.
Other peoples experiences will help me to decide on our next destination. I am thinking, either Thailand again, or else Bolivia, or Vietnam. Or maybe someplace else.

If the woman from the parenting magazine wants to ask me anything, i am willing, so pass on my email address to her. I will PM it, to u. However, i am from Ireland, not the UK.
