Hi,

We're planning a trip to the Caribbean.
The first version includes Cuba, Jamaica, Barbados, Dominican Rep. and Puerto Rico.

Any comments on the choice of islands are apprechiated.

Also, I'd like to know what parts of these island you recommend for staying (where to get a hotel)?
...and what to see?

Thanks!
Vilma

Only been to Cuba,
Best parts are Havana, Vinales area, Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba. Although I found Baracoa on the east coast very nice and pleasant, especially the surroundings like Parc Nacional Alejandro Humboldt.

[b]I know Cuba a little (spent a month there some years ago) und love Havanna, definitely a great place ! I was fortunate enough to stay with a Cuban family in the centre of the town and had the opportunity to talk part in real Havanna live. I live in Negril Jamaica, and if you do not have any place booked for your Jamaican stopover, you can stay in my cottage, but pleae e-mail me for details, you can find my e-mail address in the members profile listing. I think I have answered your question in travellers help pertaining to your hurricane and weather concern. Love, Karin
