error?

Ive been playing with the blog and tried "promoting" my profile but when I followed the provided link I recieved an error that said my profile dosen't exist!?!? Any ideas?

I sorted it out. it seems that when I included the . at the end of the link for the photo gallery my browser automatially it and I got the page w/o a problem, for some reason my browser wasnt dropping the . for the profile link and I was gettin the error.

Ah, that makes sense and I see what you mean. To avoid confusion, I've removed the . from behind the link in all cases. For your profile, basically the system was looking for user 'J kerouac.' instead of 'J kerouac'. For the photography one the / at the end of the link stops that from happening (crude explanation :) )

Regarding how to earn points toward membership status, sending out the link to your blog would certainly help as any member that signs up after visiting your blog would be credited to your referrals. Alternatively, you can get them to sign up directly using the link under the Referral area in your Control Panel.

There's a whole bunch of other things in the equation too, like number of forum posts, photos and blog entries. Featured forum entries, blog posts and photos get you more points etc. etc.
