I started traveling internationally at 16 years old. At 17 I left the country while still a minor, requiring legal affidavits signed by both parents to allow me to disappear to Mexico for the summer. Best thing they ever could have done.
From there, it became a disease. I've been all over the planet and have done it on a shoe-string budget. If you're going to any of the following countries, then I can help: Mexico, Cuba, Canary Islands, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Namibia, South Africa, Mozambique, Mauritius, Australia x3, New Zealand (where I now live), Fiji x4, Tahiti, Hawaii, Alaska, 38US states. I've done most places by land, driving across Australia 3 times.
If you want to reach me with questions regarding planning, tips, working, etc, email me through my blog (see below). I have set up a little personal journal, photo, and video site for my new life in New Zealand. It's NOT a commercial site. There are no ads or products for sale. Just information. I'm an admitted travel-addict and would love to make "junkies" out of everyone!!!
Some people say they can't afford to travel. I say you can't afford NOT to travel!!
