Well, the Travellerspoint team continues to grow. This time it is our younger brother joining the group! Eric has already been writing for us for a few years now on a casual basis (most of the country descriptions in the destination guide were researched and written by him). He joined us as a full-timer a couple of weeks ago in our office in Melbourne.

Please welcome Eric

Welcome dr.pepper!

Eric, do Sam and Peter lock you in the dungeon like Dmitry and Sander?

...insert voice of Ricardo Montalban here....

Welcome Eric, to Fantasy Island.....

...cue tropical music here...

Here you will find all that the world has to offer...sex, booze, chocolate...lunatic posters, meet-ups with uncertain outcomes, crazed Malaysian Moderators with a penchant for Pringles, hard drinking Americans with few or no opinions on the world, and others who are too numerous to name, by name.

Here on Fantasy Island, you are finally free of the "Basement of Code Repair", free to see the daylight, to soak up the sun, to live.....to torture your nieces/nephews as they get older and laugh as they go home to mom and dad with that new eyebrow piercing......

....cut to commercial break......

Quoting Peter

He joined us as a full-timer a couple of weeks ago in our office in Melbourne.

So that would be the Daams' Dungeon of the Doomed: Melbourne Branch??? If he visits Sam, will he be sequestered in the Daams Dungeon of the Doomed: Oslo Branch??

Indeed welcome Eric person you!!! Did they offer you wonderful and expensive pressies to join the group or are you forced labor because your last name begins with D, has two As in the middle and ends with M and S?? Make sure they let you out of the dungeon once in awhile! We know they let Sander see sunlight, but Dmytri hasn't been seen in weeks. (Your code name isn't Dmytri is it - by any chance???)

Isa leaves now because she hears a little short man screaming "Da Plane Da Plane" in a very lousy French accent...

Eric here reporting from the dark and mouldy interior of the Daams' Dungeon of the Doomed: Melbourne Branch...

Though the Health and Safety Measures in this Dungeon are teetering the fine edge of inadequate, we are allowed to enter into direct sunlight three times a week. My next 5 minutes of direct sunlight will be on Christmas day. Oh joy, oh joy!

Anyway, it's good to be on board! Looking forward to many more threads revolving around myself!

Eric, aka Brother Number 3

Hehehehehe, soon we'll have to move dungeons, just because it's getting too darn crowded. Oh, hang on, that's supposed to happen with dungeons!

Welcome brother #3

Maybe we can get someone on board just to chisel out a new wing in our dungeon

8. Posted by Sander (Moderator 4809 posts) 9y

Who needs chisels? There's a time-honored tradition for these things! *hands spoons to you, Dmitry and Eric*

(Ah, sometimes I'm glad I have my very own private dungeon!) ^_^

And welcome aboard Eric! :)

Welcome Eric! Good luck with that Evil-brother-dungeon thing. Which reminds me - what's going to happen to Purdy and company on their visit to Australia..? I hope she brought a chisel!
