I have just landed a job in Eindhoven, Holland for the next 6 months.
It is a great job but kind of a hassle because my wife has to stay in London because of her studies.
The solution I found is for both of us to fly every other week since the flights are so cheap.
Has anyone had a similar problem? How did you cope with it?
Also anyone who has lived in Holland before? Did you enjoy it?
Eindhoven is a fine city. There is a technical university. In fact it is a studentcity with good nightlife. Nothing cultural. Its a very modern city which was formed out of a few smaller cities and villages. It is also called the "light city" probably because of Philips (electronica industry). It has approx. 220.000 inhabitants. From Eindhoven you will have access to all over the country. Many trains run from here.
