If you've never been to London before, I'd say stick around - or maybe just explore England a little more. Three days in London was barely enough to scratch the surface - there's so much to see! I'd avoid flying anywhere else - the check-in, flight, check-out and all that can eat up a good part of a day - and you only have 10 to spare. Make the most of them! That or head to Paris. ;)

Enjoy, whatever you choose!

ha ha ha ....... that really is a good point, staying in england would allow me to visit a country the way i like ...... really SEE a country.
but i've actually been eyeballing paris because i've created this personal little goal of mine to see the worlds 4 mega cities ..... i've done tokyo recently, now going to london and paris will knock off two more ..... after that, new york. but doesn't fly to paris from london, so that is whats made me go "well ..... where to?"
but your right, staying in england would probably be the best!
thanks so much,

p.s. ... when i look at a world map, my mouth waters

If you really want to move out of England (though it seems like you've decided to stay on), then I'd suggest a trip up north to Scotland. Edinburgh is a beautiful city, definitely worth a visit.

If you don't want to waste time with flights, you could get the Eurostar over to Paris. Goes from the centre of London to the centre of Paris in 2.5 hours, and I think you have to be there 45mins before to check in. It's quicker than flying anyway!

oh man! ... i've ALWAYS wanted to see scotland ... so many of my favorite bands come out of there, and i love gloomy/foggy/cool weather. and i love pubs and people. i've been thinking of heading up there, probably my 2nd choice after paris (paris is really cause of the 'mega city' goal). ...
if i go to paris, whats the cheapest/fastest way of getting there? it sucks doesn't fly to paris from london..... i could have gone for $30 ........ oh well, i guess glasgow/edinburgh for $30.
i have not decided anything, until i go.

Hello Eits

If u have not been to any of those countries, yet, just go to the one with the cheapest flight.

One suggestion: If u fly to France, Spain or Italy, u have enough time, to enjoy 2 of them, since they are close together. U can travel by train, or check out budget flight sites.
eg for buying flights, when u are in France, Spain or Italy.
Eg, for if u are in England or Scotland.

Try Easy Jet - they're a cheapie airline, too. The Eurostar would probably save you time, but I think it may be a lot more expensive.

My favorite destinations in Europe used to be Italy, Spain and Greece. The last trip though we went to Croatia and Greece and and we loved Croatia, nice people, good food, lovely places to visit. The time before that we did Western Europe and did not enjoy at all,for us it was expensive for hotels and eating out. Except for a couple of days in Prague in the Czech Republic which was nice. So now my favorites are Greece, Croatia, Czech Republic and Italy.
