Have u had a chance to visit Munich? One of my favorites is Augustiner Pils... Hefeweizen hits the spot too.

german beer is nice but i think personally belgium makes the best beer in the world!

i love hoegaarden beer! the best beer that i have ever tasted! you can get that beer in some bars all around europe and in some off licenses too!

ask anyone and they will never have a bad thing to say about it!

I already tasted hoegaarden before, i love the taste but it's little bit soft for me.

The problem with hoegaarden is that it doesn’t taste like a typical beer! Its like another complete version of beer!
Soft? As in easy to drink? I could drink buckets of the stuff but the beer is quite strong! It gets you drunk quite easily!
One of the stronger beers out there it is for sure.

Any local brews found in Munich were great, but overall I think Belgium takes the gold has having a wide variety of spectacular beers.

It's called white beer and is sold in just several countries in europe: netherlands, belgium, germany, switzerland and austria. And probably in some other countries, but less so. Just as regular beer (originally from Plzen, Czech Republic) it's about 5% alcohol. In holland and probably other countries they drink it mainly when the wetter is warm.
Other good white beer is Korenwolf (from the dutch province of limburg) and German Edelweiss and Erdinger.

I think the dark beer of Grimbergen from Belgium is with distance the best.
