I have to throw Myanmar Beer into the ring for two reasons:

1. It's not bad; though is usually served pretty warm due to a general lack of adequate electricity in the country. Find an artificially frosty cold one in one of the classier joints, and pure Heaven boy.

2. For me, it served as a natural alarm clock. Any more than 1 L at night and I found that like clockwork at around 6 or 7 a.m. it was rather imperitive that I get out of bed and take care of some business.

Probably too much info but some of you know what I'm talking about, I'm sure.

La Potosina, some obscure Bolivian brand, I found particularly enjoyable. These days I wonder why; it's never served chilled, hardly has any fume, leaves one nasty hangover, its taste is repugnant... but hey, it's dirt cheap :)

I'm sad to say it but I come from a country with mediocre beer, wich is strange cause we tend to drink a lot of it
There are a lot of enjoyable beers in the world, and I'm not even halfway through them all! But some of the best beer I've tasted is checzh (did I spell that right? )and I must say I enjoyed Bucanero in Cuba!

I wish I could get Chang Beer from Thailand here! That stuff is great.

Wynkoop's in Denver makes this incredible mead during the holidays, and their Cherry Kriek Ale is wunderbar, although being from St. Louis, I also love the local Schlafly's. They must have about thirty or forty different kinds, but their coffee stout is fantastic!
