does anyone have any advice on a good hostel? I need a cheap one (I'm on my own) but one where i might meet people and get good advice. I am only staying in Sydney for a couple of nights. Also - any advice on how to get lifts and maybe share a campervan? cheers, Liz
If your looking for a good hostel in the city try WAKE UP.
it's not the cheapest but its the best $25 a night.it's near central station.
if not theres a cheap YHA on the corner of the same road....$19
Central is not a pretty area. Why not splurge on a ferry ride to Manly . Little more expensive but beautiful place with heaps to do
I would recommend the railway YHA, excellent place, clean and tidy and staff are very helpful, plus you right beside the train station and close to china town, yummy rice bowls, check it out
Noahs Backpackers in Bondi Beach, cheap, tidy, great bar below but not too crazy, beach on your doorstep, friendly place, you will love it!! xx
Try to stay at the beach for a while. Manly is great and a lovely ferry ride from the city. Try boardriders Backpackers.
