Zoe has indicated that this thread is about Australia

Hi Folks

Do you have to get a return ticket back to the UK if entering Australia for 1 yr on a working holiday visa??

I am planning to go for 1 yr but I might end up travelling to another country b4 I head home to the UK never know where my feet will take me?!?

Hi
Not sure about that. I don't suppose they care where you go, as long as you go!
I expect they will want your passport to remain valid for a while after the END of your stay. You might have to prove you have a ticket out of the country - buy a cheap flight to NZ!:)

hi there,

i have just arrived in oz a couple of weeks ago and was really worried about this also, i purchased my one way ticket to oz back in january and everyone kept saying that if you don't have a return ticket they don't let you in and also you have to supply bank statements showing that you have money in bank. i had neither and have been here 2 weeks they never even asked for any documents, i don't know what it is like in other airports, i flew in to brisbane.

good luck with your trip
