My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to China in the summer for 3 weeks. Has anyone got any advice on how to fit such a vast and beautiful country into 3 weeks? Have narrowed down the main places we want to visit as Xian, Beijing, Shanghai and I would love to go to Shenzhen?
Any help much appreciated.
I have also been doing the initial planning and shortlisting for a trip to China next year. I particularly liked the route stated on China tours. I think you should not leave out the Yangshuo area. It sounds a beautiful place.
Have a good trip!
I am in Guilin now, here is really beautiful,it is worth visiting.
hi morphy, i spent almost 3 months in china and loved it. i'd suggest you start in beijing, take train to xian, train to chengdu and a train (if you have time) or flight (if you have money) to shanghai. didn't visit shenzen, not heard about it. the mountains near xian and chengdu are well worth visiting - check out my blog and photos! have a great time in china. try and learn some mandarin before you go - it will really help! all the best, pete
1) What are your points of entry and exit?
2) What's your budget like? Are you able to fly for some legs, or are you restricted to trains and perhaps buses?
3) Why Shenzhen?
