As a statman, I like to see which countries are represented, visited and are photos of.
There are only several countries which were not visited:
Christmas Island, Cocos Islands, Norther Mariana Islands, Pitcairn, Wallis and Futuna, Montenegro, Svalbard, Ascension Island, Comoros, Mayotte, St Helena, Tristan da Cunha, Eritrea and Sao Tome and Principe.

All these countries have members though, well at least they claim to be.....4 members of Pitcairn? With a population of just 47?

There are photos of most of these countries, apart from 5. But maybe these photos are not taken in these countries

I know that people can just say they are from a country and maybe entered the wrong country when they uploaded a photo, but is it somehow possible to check this? Does this happen?

Well, this thread is just to let interested people know but also to ask for some checks when possible...I know everyone is busy and has a job...;)

And of course it's a thread to encourage people to visit these countries!! Some of them are actually easy, like Montenegro. I can drive there in 24 hours.

We're looking at getting someone on board to fly around the world visiting members who claim to be from obscure countries. Can't stand database innacuracies hehe ...

Seriously though, apart from asking people to fax us their passport, there's nothing we can do about this.

Good point! Montenegro was only recently separated as a country, which explains the lack of logged visits. All visits to Serbia & Montenegro were converted to Serbia for convenience' sake. Of course, it is likely that some of those people actually went to Montenegro on their trip. In any case, it seems like a good travel destination and one that should be ticked soon!

Well, I would like to apply for that job....tickets and hotels at TP cost, cost of food and drinks I'll pay myself;)

Wow! 146 new TP members on Wednesday, is that some kinda record? Usually only 80-110ish. First of the week was slow though so it may have made up for that. Anybody worked out the math to see the projected day to hit 100,000?

Ok so if you take the current TP member count of 81,454 and subtract it from 100,000 you get 18,546. divide that by the previous weeks new member count of 737 you get roughly 25.164 weeks.
That puts number 100,000 joining sometime at the end of June on or around the 27th. That is just a guesstament using last weeks numbers, a more accurate one could be produced if there was a mean average of new members per week known. I know, i have no life! Math is really fun though. Oh God did I really just say that? The world is coming to an end!!

Yep, it's a record. To be precise, it beat the previous record by 3 members.

Damned it. That counts me out

At your service. Was in Montenegro a few days ago (and had been several times before in alternate names) and a few of the others will be ticked off before the end of the year. And I am going solely for the good of TP, you understand.

I'm available!! And I think Beerman should come along so he can report on the quality of the local brews. If only I go, the report will be, "Yup - the country exists and has great/bad beaches. If he comes along - "It's a country with great/bad beaches and great/bad beer. What's a beach without beer??

Aha, and now of course it's possible to put in under Montenegro and not Serbia. Congratulations, you are the first. If someone else travels the others, let me know. By the way, how was Montenegro?

Same as normal - a mostly ignored and wonderfully beautiful country with crazed bus drivers. I can't really count it as a real visit this time as i was only passing through, but i suppose it fulfills the requirement and i've been around most of the country in the past. Having said that, it's strange for the time of year as (like most of Europe) the weather is worryingly mild.
