I've bought vintage cameras and related accessories from eBay with good results. You register with a credit card and watch the camera model you like to buy in the condition you like. After a few times, you'll have an idea how much it would cost and if that fits your budget. Then you start the bidding process following new auctions for this item. Make sure the seller is NOT new and have a high positive feedback from those who transacted with him/her. I've only bought from those who have at least a 95% positive feedback.

ebay is a good place to get second hand cameras, there is a very wide selection on all different cameras, lenses, what ever you ask for.
I got my Olympus E-100 RS I was looking for at Euro 460.00 to years ago,new selling price was 1980 Euro.I'm very happy about the deal.
the camera was sold by a journalist and was exactly as he had described it,also my Olympus 5050 is second hand, lokks like new, works perfekt, got it for $100 incl.ass.like battery charger .
second hand you can afford very good cameras since prices dropp drastic when a new modell is on the market.
