Hey Guys!

Now that I have your undivided attention... (Just kidding!) I'm trying to upload some photos from Phil's visit and keep getting an error message. I know not everyone wants to see his smiling face on TP, but...

Just thought I'd mention it...

What error message? A javascript alert that pops up, or only after submitting, saying that a report has been emailed?
We noticed something that should be quite uncommon ourselves (and that might or might not be fixed, depending on if Sam's seen my latest email), but there might be bigger issues, too - still trying to track that down.

If the error you're getting is after submitting, saying that a report has been emailed, could you send me a PM with the exact information you put in each form field and which checkboxes you've checked or not, so I can try to reproduce?

edit: Oh, never mind about the PM, I'm getting it myself as well (just realized I hadn't actually tested this live yet). But am completely unable to reproduce locally. Urgh. I hate this class of errors. Stupid server updates. *shakes fist*

Hey Sander!

There was an error.

That's the message I keep getting. I just tried uploading again now (3:50pm CST). It happens after hitting "submit" - which obviously (from your edited reply) you are also experiencing.

Guess it's not just the system rejecting a photo of Beerman and Pardus making Christmas cookies. (It is scary though...)

Yeah, it's really a bug on our side, and it won't go away until we've identified what it is. I don't have enough access to test out hypotheses though, and messed up my own system in the process of trying to recreate it, so it'll take at least until Peter wakes up before it'll be fixed. :/

Sorry everyone.. definitely a bug. I'll see if I can't somehow wind things back to how they were :(

I don't know if it's been fixed, but I've just tried and have no problem uploading a photo using both IE7 and FF2.

I see a pattern here in all of you though.

By George, I think he's got it!! Wise move, H!!!

Someday, you'll realize that our little hiccups are still less annoying that those larger, more frequent ones you encounter with that other platform.

The issue was resolved earlier today, which would explain why you didn't see it Hien. It was most likely due to excessive load on the photo uploading component.

Thanks Peter!!!

I was able to upload all the photos this morning. I can now cross that item off the "To Do" list!

Who's Will Robinson? I used to get bullied by a kid called that at primary school.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing your pictures when you sort them out!
