How about we form a Continum instead?

Can we build an artificial beach at the bottom? How else will we be able to install a sea-side walk-up bar so we can have umbrella drinks?

Will this be more like a commune where everyone has a role, or an all-inclusive package vacation?

Always remember, strange women lying around in ponds are no basis for any form of government. You can't run around claiming to wield supreme power just because some watery tart through a sword at you!!!

Problem with Sealand would be that during international footie matches the ball would keep going over the side of the platform and someone would have to go and get it back.

We might have to ask beerman if we can make TP Island a Queendom...

Uh, it's 1800 sq ft (~175 sq m)......where are the rest of you people going to live???

It's a tad shabby, The Queen shall require servants, though. Please form an orderly line behind The Lady High Isacutioner to receive your orders and mandates.

That is all.

Ah.. No need!! We'll just have collapsible netting that can be raised during the matches and will also help keep the ball in play... After the match - lower the netting. I think the North Sea is a bit chilly so I'm not sure I will volunteer for ball retreival duty. I'm not keen on drysuits. Maybe we can get the engineers in the group to design a little submersible robot in the shape of a golden retriever. Yeah - that's the ticket... A robotic dog...

Our current dwelling is 1800 sq. ft. (not counting the basement)!! I'm thinking sleeping in shifts is going to be required...

The Lady High Isacutioner heads off to find her list of orders and mandates.

1) No problem!!! A little paint, a little sand - viola - sea-side walk-up bar!

2) It's taking a turn towards communal. But, how much are you willing to pay for the all-inclusive plan???

I've got at least...oh, say, $2.50 in my wallet. More if I search the couch.

Is that USD or Canuckistani Monopoly money?? I don't think leftover Ikea nuts, bolts or screws will be considered acceptable currency either. I may be wrong depending on how much work this "island' is going to need though.
